Giuliana Rancic of E! News after sad news of another miscarriage: 'Everything is meant to happen for a reason'.

Giuliana Rancic, -co-anchor of E! News on E! Entertainment (DStv 124) opened up on the show about the recent second miscarriage they've suffered as she and husband Bill Rancic are trying to have a second child.

Earlier this year they decided to start the process of having a second child after their first, Edward Duke.

They asked the woman, Delphine, to be the surrogate again after having been the surrogate of their first son who is turning 2 years old in August.

Unfontunately Delphine recently lost the baby - the second miscarriage Giuliana and Bill Rancic have now experienced after Giuliana Rancic experienced a miscarriage in March 2010.

On E! News Giuliana Rancic was joined by husband Bill Rancic and talked about the experience of going through such a traumatic experience again and the couple's ongoing pregnancy struggles.

"In marriage there's going to be highs, there's going to be lows. For us, we're not quitters and hopefully we're going to have another baby soon," said Bill Rancic.

"Before we had Duke we had struggles there too. We were trying for years to have a baby. We had a miscarriage then," said Giuliana Rancic.

"So to see Duke, you realise, 'Wow, everything is meant to happen for a reason'. And we wouldn't have Duke. So it's pretty incredible to think how life works," said Giuliana Rancic.

"And the challenging times bring you closer together," said Bill Rancic.

BREAKING. A 'thrilled' Giuliana Rancic extends her contract with E! Entertainment for two more years until April 2016

Giuliana Rancic has extended her contract with E! Entertainment (DStv 124) for two more years, until April 2016.

The announcement follows on the heels of Giuliana Rancic who apparently wanted to scale back her role at E! to focus on motherhood but then had a change of heart following news that Maria Menounos is likely joining E! Entertainment soon.

Giuliana Rancic who planned to cut down her screen time on E! before news regarding Maria Menounos became public, apparently doesn't want to have it seem as if she was "pushed out", and rethought her decision.

As part of her extended contract with E! Entertainment, Giuliana Rancic will continue anchoring E! News as well as being managing editor of the daily entertainment news show.

"Giuliana Rancic has been an important part of the E! family for twelve years now and we are thrilled to extend her overall deal with the network," says Cyndi McClellan, the president for network strategy and E! News at E! Entertainment in a statement.

"Giuliana Rancic brings not only a wealth of experience to the air, but also a fun, relatable and candid energy that makes her a fan favorite amongst E! viewers and incredibly popular across the entertainment community".

"I'm thrilled and blessed to be able to pursue all of my passions while continuing on at E!, my home away from home," says Giuliana Rancic in the statement. "I feel like the luckiest girl in the world!"

Giuliana Rancic joined E! Entertainment in 2002 as a correspondent for E! News and has been anchor and managing editor for the programme since January 2005.

She is also E! Entertainment's reigning queen of red carpet television coverage, anchoring E!'s Live from the Red Carpet, anchors the interviews series Beyond Candid with Giuliana, is a panelist on Fashion Police and appears with her husband Bill Rancic in their reality show, Giuliana & Bill.

Giuliana Rancic doesn't want to appear 'pushed out' at E! Entertainment; recommits with Maria Menounos likely joining.

She's the reigning queen of television red carpet coverage and Giuliana Rancic of E! Entertainment (DStv 124) is reportedly recommitting to E! Entertainment - not wanting to be perceived as being pushed out when the ambitious entertainment reporter Maria Menounos joins E! Entertainment very soon.

Giuliana Rancic who planned to scale back her responsibilities at E! to focus on her 2 year old son Duke, apparently decided to not do so anymore after word started circulating that Maria Menounos will be joining E! Entertainment soon, according to The New York Daily News.

E! Entertainment had no comment.

Giuliana Rancic reportedly doesn't want it to look like her diminished appearance on E! Entertainment - which was planned independently of Maria Menounos joining - is because of Maria Menounos showing up as a new entertainment reporter and anchor.

Giuliana Rancic anchors E! News, is a panelist on Fashion Police, appears in her reality show Giuliana & Bill and does red carpet coverage at awards shows during Hollywood's awards season.

According to quoted insiders, Giuliama Rancic who is the face of E! Entertainment doesn't want to appear "pushed out of a network she helped to make a success".

WALK-ON ROLE. E! News on E! Entertainment's perfect opener as Terrence Jenkins and Giuliana Rancic do an off-side walk on.

Now this is perfection.

The opener intro of the daily E! News Thursday night at 20:00 on E! Entertainment (DStv 124) was faultless as co-anchors Terrence Jenkins and Giuliana Rancic tried something new: an off-side walk-on, talk intro which they did brilliantly and flawlessly.

Television, like a symphony orchestra, has many different parts which all has to come together.

You might hear one symphony but when its perfect, it's because a lot of different sounds come together correctly at just the right time.

E! News more than pleasantly surprised Thursday night with a terrific off-set, walk on intro, immediately upping the dynamic energy and visual feel of the entire day's broadcast.

Thursday's edition of E! News literally kicked off by bringing the viewer in from the "outside" so to speak, to the inside (making the viewer feel like "the insider").

Notice the perfect backstage studio start to on-set transition. The perfect and constantly adjusting overhead camera angle and the perfect tracking and panning with the jimmy jib.

Notice the anchors placing their hands on the desk at the same time without looking at each other like faultless, synchronised swimmers in a team, the measured, yet natural looking pace of their walking and talking.

Notice the welcoming, complementing to the viewer arm movements and hand gestures which are extroverted, yet not wildly over-the-top as most South African TV presenters over do, and those perfect smiles.

A whole group of people worked together, and their work to make this piece of television was perfect - for all of 9 seconds.

But those 9 seconds are the intro.

Because such a powerful opener manages to "wow" the viewer subconsciously on a visual level, and because the viewer is visually drawn to the dynamic perfection of the scene setting opener, it's my guess that a viewer will most likely will also stay watching.

E! News anchors: The Walking Dead! Strollers! Milkshakes! TV's entertainment newsers reveal their obsessive addictions.

The E! News anchors on E! Entertainment (DStv 124) revealed their obsessive addictions on Thursday night on E! News as anchor Jason Kennedy wore glasses due to an eye infection.

"I am obsessed with The Walking Dead," said E! News anchor Terrence Jenkins. "I can't get enough of that show. I just get glued. I went back and watched the complete first season again. It's just too much. I'm obsessed. I'm a zombie."

Cat Sadler said "I wanted to say Breaking Bad. But not that that's over, I'm back to margeritas, but even those I can't get to because I'm training so much for a half marathon".

Jason Kennedy revealed that he loves milkshakes. 'I've driven to the gym some days in clothes. Stopped to get a milkshake and driven home without working out."

"My addiction is strollers. I'm a stroller hoarder," admitted Giuliana Rancic. "I was at 13 and I'm now at 14 strollers. I'm getting help. One's for travel, one's for the park, one's fancy. One Gwyneth had. I'm not saying I'm proud of it," said Giuliana Rancic.

Jesse Giddings makes his first on-air appearance on E! News as the new correspondent for E! Entertainment.

An emotional Kristin dos Santos, E! Entertainment's TV critic, is back on E! News to talk about the shocking death of Glee's Cory Monteith.

For the first time in a long while Kristin dos Santos - E! Entertainment's (DStv 124) noted TV critic and TV news scooper - was back on the air on E! News on Wednesday evening and became emotional when she talked about the shocking death of Glee star Cory Monteith.

Kristin dos Santos whose constant appearance on E! Entertainment and E! News became more marginal the past few years since she got married and became a mom of two babies, was back on Wednesday evening (South Africa sees the latest E! News broadcast one day behind the United States).

Kristin dos Santos was on-air to report on Cory Monteith's shocking and sad passing due to a heroin and alcohol related death in a Vancouver hotel.

Kristin dos Santos who've grown close to the Glee cast and Cory Monteith the past few years covering television, became emotional on E! News and started to choke up on set as she related what sources told her.

"This is probably the first time I've ever choked up on set," said Kristin dos Santos suddenly, her voice suddenly wavering and full of emotion.

"Cory was such an amazing guy and everyone who knew him didn't look at him as a star or this leading man. He was just a real guy. Everyone who met him got that sense from him that he really cared about you. And he cared what you were talking about. And he was selfless. And I'm sorry, but you don't find that a lot in this town. He was so unique."

"He never missed a call time. He was always so professional. He was always so present. This took everyone by complete surprise. It's such a blow."

Terrence Jenkins asked Kristin dos Santos how Cory Monteith's death is going to affect the production of Glee.

"At this point it is such a blow to the cast and crew that they can't even have the conversation yet. I've talked to people who work on the show. He was the heart of the show. His character was at the heart of the show and he was the heart of the cast."

"To figure out what to do with the storylines, how to explain his disappearance from the show, whether it will be addressed or not, and also for the entire cast to go back to that particular set without Cory, particularly for Lea Michele. She met him on that set, they fell in love on that set," said Kristin dos Santos.

NAKED NEWS. A naked Giuliana Rancic on E! News censored by E! Entertainment as part of a comedy skit with Joan Rivers.

E! Entertainment (DStv 124) censored a naked Giuliana Rancic Friday night on E! News on the channel's daily news broadcast with a big black block covering her body and the words "censored" over it, when the E! News co-host went au naturel following a dare from comedienne Joan Rivers who's celebrating her 80th birthday on E! this week.

Giuliana Rancic who wasn't really naked but hammed it up for a comedy sketch towards the end of the E! News broadcast shown on Friday night on DStv in South Africa, took her cue from Joan Rivers who gave Giuliana Rancic some unsoliticed wardrobe advice.

"I've seen nuns looking sexier," Joan Rivers told Giuliana Rancic about her wardrobe on E! News. "This is 2013, Giuliana, 2013! It's a whole different world. People want you to look a little trampy when you present the news," said Joan Rivers. "Two words. You want ratings? Naked news."

E! News then blacked out Giuliana Rancic's body next to co-presenter Jason Kennedy. "The network stuck this censored thing before me," said Giuliana Rancic.

The "censored" joke on E! News and E! Entertainment is highly ironic within the context of E! Entertainment as it's seen on MultiChoice's DStv platform in South Africa and across Africa where E! Entertainment it is in reality, the most censored and visually lobotimised TV channel out of the entire DStv bouquet.

E! News' editorial news content is constantly censored through blurring, blocking and muting in every episode, diminishing and tarnishing the editorial integrity and relevance of the show supposed to be about news from the popular culture sphere.

The ongoing blurring, bleeping, blacking, muting and censorship on E! Entertainment is highly distracting and idiosyncraticlly non-sensical. In January E! Entertainment explained to TV with Thinus somewhat why.

Adding insult to injury is E! Entertainment's insane approach of censoring the news but broadcasting unvarnished to its mostly female skewed TV audience expletive and cuss laced trash such as the low-class reality show Playing with Fire filled with swearing and filthy language - none of which are censored but are supposed to, instead of something like E! News.

Tropika Island of Treasure and Oscar Pistorius remain news on E! News on E! Entertainment; reveals Reeva Steenkamp's 'chilling last words'.

Tropika Island of Treasure 5: Jamaica with the dead model shot in the head Reeva Steenkamp and the Olympic and paralympic athlete Oscar Pistorius facing a charge of premeditated murder, again made the news on E! News on E! Entertainment (DStv 124) on Wednesday night.

Jason Kennedy reported on Oscar Pistorius bail hearing as E! News also featured Reeva Steenkamp's "chilling last words" on Tropika Island of Treasure 5.

E! News which showed Tropika Island of Treasure 5 footage again said Oscar Pistorius who shot his girlfriend repeatedly could get a life sentence if convicted of murdering Reeva Steenkamp.

"And chilling words from the reality star herself after Saturday's debut of Tropika Island of Treasure on SABC1," said Jason Kennedy.

"I think the way that you go out, not just your journey in life, but the way that you go out and make your exit is so important," says Reeva Steenkamp in the clip played on E! News. "And I'm going to miss you all so much."

BREAKING. Tropika Island of Treasure 5 on SABC1 becomes the first South African TV show ever to get extensive coverage on E! News.

Tropika Island of Treasure 5 set to start tonight on SABC1 at 18:30 despite model and reality contestant Reeva Steenkamp who was shot in the head and killed by Oscar Pistorius two days ago, just became the first ever South African TV show to be featured extensively on E! News.

The daily entertainment news magazine show on E! Entertainment (DStv 124) which is broadcast globally had the Oscar Pistorius killing drama as its main lead story with extensive coverage of Tropika Island of Treasure 5 and the now dead Reeva Steenkamp.

SABC1 as well as production company Stimulii and executive producer Samantha Moon are pushing ahead with Tropika Island of Treasure 5 and didn't pull the show from the schedule although there's been no memorial or funeral service for Reeva Steenkamp yet who will be cremated.

Reeva Steenkamp's memorial service will only be taking place on Tuesday in Port Elizabeth as friends are flying in from all over the world.

Meanwhile Tropika Island of Treasure 5 Jamaica as an advertiser-funded production (AFP) now has the rather dubious distinction of becoming the first South African television production to feature on E! News which usually covers American TV shows which are making buzz and creating watercooler entertainment news moments.

E! News showed several clips with Reeva Steenkamp from Tropika Island of Treasure 5 on Friday night's edition and E! News said it would be covering the Oscar Pistorius case over the following months.

E! News also told viewers that it is "ironic" that Tropika Island of Treasure 5 set in Jamaica with Reeva Steenkamp is being shown from Saturday in South Africa.

ALSO READ: Rest in peace? Not for Reeva Steenkamp as SABC1 and Stimulii will show the dead model and reality TV contestant before there's even been a funeral service.

Oscar Pistorius killing scandal leads the news as the main story on E! News on E! Entertainment.

Oscar Pistorius killing his girlfriend Reeva Steenkamp by shooting the SABC1 Tropika Island of Treasure 5 reality contestant in her in the head in his home was the main story on E! News on E! Entertainment (DStv 124), leading the global entertainment news programme's coverage on Friday.

Oscar Pistorius is charged with premeditated murder in a sensational killing case which instantly grabbed worldwide news attention on television on Thursday.

The Oscar Pistorius killing Reeva Steenkamp story also made the CBS Evening News with Scott Pelley (seen on South Africa on Sky News, DStv 402) and the NBC Nightly News (seen in South Africa on CNBC Africa, DStv 410) which is two of the three main daily news bulletins in America.

The CBS Evening News called Oscar Pistorius' killing scandal "a feel good story gone bad".

SIBL-E!-ING RIVALRY. Giuliana Rancic explodes at Ryan Seacrest when he teases about her 'weave'; she asks if his new fuller do is hair plugs.

Another hair-raising incident on the E! News set on E! Entertainment (DStv 124) when a livid Giuliana Rancic exploded at her former E! News co-host Ryan Seacrest when he made a joke about her hair and her recent weave.

ALSO READ: Giuliana Rancic of E! News teased by co-anchor Jason Kennedy over her brand-new "white girl weave".

Ryan Seacrest, now sporting a much thicker head of hair than previous years' shorter cuts, returned to the E! News studio to talk Golden Globe Awards and to anchor the show with the current co-hosts Giuliana Rancic and Terrence Jenkins.

"What really frightening is having a really bad hair day on the red carpet, as Terrence can relate to, I'm sure," quipped Ryan Seacrest in jest about Terrence Jenkins who in fact has no hair.

Terrence Jenkins was quick on the draw, shooting back: "When I had my weave in it was horrible, horrible."

"That makes two of you," said Ryan Seacrest, meaning Terrence Jenkins and Giuliana Rancic.

Giuliana Rancic went ballistic on-air on Ryan Seacrest as only sisters and brothers do when they fight.

"I don't have a weave anymore!" screamed Giuliana Rancic at Ryan Seacrest. "I got rid of my weave! You know that Seacrest!"

Terrence Jenkins started laughing and wanted to interject, but Giuliana Rancic dismissed him outright, motioning him to stay out of it with her hand.

"You're hair is on fire right now. Very full. What are you doing? Did you get plugs?" asked Giuliana Rancic of Ryan Seacrest. Then she continued to feel Ryan Seacrest's new hairdo. And gave him a playful little kick.

New E! News presenter Terrence Jenkins dance off camera as Giuliana Rancic sarcastically exclaims: 'You still look like a serious journalist'.

In a bizarre display of unprofessionalism, the new E! News presenter Terrence Jenkins on E! Entertainment (DStv 124, weeknights at 21:00) tonight danced right off of camera doing an impression of Psy's "Gangnam Style".

Terrence Jenkins' lame visual joke which went far too far (as far as literally off camera after first inappropriately disappearing behind Giuliana Rancic) followed after Giuliana Rancic goaded her new copresenter to show his "Gangnam Style" moves. Terrence Jenkins was doing his first red carpet duty for E! Entertainment at the 2012 American Music Awards where he interviewed Psy.

"I work for E! now," said Terrence Jenkins. " I've got to be serious now. I'm on TV now."

"Oh. I miss the old Terrence Jenkins," said Giuliana Rancic. "He would have "Gangnam"-ed for me."

"There's no way I'm going to do that, man," he said before popping out a set of sunglasses and busting out the moves.

But suddenly it went all horribly too far. As an anchor and as a presenter, you're the anchor to and for the viewer. If goes the anchor, there goes the viewer's tether.

Terrence Jenkins unprofessionally danced right into the space behind Giuliana Rancic, where even the E! News in-studio cameras could not keep up.

A wide-eyed Giuliana Rancic exclaimed sarcastically: "You still look like a serious journalist."

Then Terrence Jenkins danced off the set, suddenly right past in front of the camera with his back turned to the camera, and away as Giuliana Rancic struggled to maintain control and get through her next link.

Giuliana Rancic back as co-presenter of E! News on E! Entertainment from this week with the new co-presenter Terrence Jenkins.

Giuliana Rancic will be back as the co-presenter of E! News (weekdays, 21:00) on E! Entertainment (DStv 124) returning after a few months of maternity leave.

Giuliana Rancic will return on Monday to E! News after three months of maternity leave, which she cut short in September to do red carpet hosting duties at the 64th Annual Primetime Emmy Awards.

Giuliana Rancic will return to E! News this week and start co-anchoring E! News with a brand-new co-host, Terrence Jenkins, who was named as the replacement for Ryan Seacrest in September.

Giuliana Rancic (37) and her husband Bill Rancic welcomed their new son Edward Duke on 29 August who was born via gestational surrogate and which saw her cancel on an opportunity to visit South Africa.

Giuliana Rancic COULD have visited South Africa at the end of August, but cancelled in February because of the arrival of her baby boy.

You're reading it here first.

Giuliana Rancic and her husband Bill Rancic could both have visited South Africa at the end of August - but cancelled.

The E! News presenter and managing editor of E! Entertainment (DStv 124) had the opportunity to visit South Africa but cancelled because of the arrival of their baby boy Edward Duke who was to arrive at that time.

In their reality show Giuliana and Bill on Style (DStv 173), cameras were present when Giuliana and Bill, in the back of a car, got a call from Giuliana Rancic's friend and manager Pam who told her that a South African trip - Giuliana's first - is now a possibility, and would include a five day stay and a safari if she agreed to two speeches.

Tonight's episode, halfway through the latest 5th season on Style, was filmed in mid-February in Chicago just after the Grammy Awards, which is when Giuliana Rancic cancelled on South Africa.

By that time the Rancic's haven't told anybody about their baby and the pregnancy which was in the first trimester. Since Pam is Giuliana's manager, Giuliana Rancic couldn't decline a South Africa visit without a very good reason and explanation. She and Bill decided to tell Pam over the phone about their baby news.

"Not only do I have to cancel South Africa, I have a baby shower to throw," said Pam.

Edward Duke was born at the end of August. George Kotsiopoulos from Fashion Police on E! Entertainment ended up visiting South Africa during the last week of August.

BREAKING. Terrence Jenkins in, Ryan Seacrest out as the new permanent co-anchor of E! News on E! Entertainment from 12 November.

Ryan Seacrest is out at E! News on E! Entertainment (DStv 124) and Terrence Jenkins is in as the new permanent co-anchor along with Giuliana Rancic and he will start co-presenting for E! News from Monday 12 November.

Terrence Jenkins from BET's 106 & Park will take over from Ryan Seacrest who disappeared earlier this year from E! News.

"Coupled with lead anchor Giuliana Rancic's proven experience, [Terrence Jenkins] should help cement E! News' stature as the leading source for news across pop culture," says Cyndi McClellan, E! Entertainment president of network strategy and E! News in a statement.

Giuliana Rancic has been anchoring E! News since 2005. Ryan Seacrest became an E! News co-anchor in 2006 but was frequently away, most notably during audition phases of American Idol seasons.

Meanwhile Jason Kennedy and Cat Sadler has been named the permanent co-anchors of E! News Weekend.

"Having Giuliana and Terrence for the weeknight program and Jason and Catt for weekends, gives us a quartet of skilled, popular broadcast journalists and will give viewers a fun, fresh look at pop culture," says Cyndi McClellan.

"I've always had a passion for the wide spectrum of pop culture that E! News covers so well," says Terrence Jenkins. "I've had a great career so far, and it's all been building towards this."
