Terrence Jenkins' lame visual joke which went far too far (as far as literally off camera after first inappropriately disappearing behind Giuliana Rancic) followed after Giuliana Rancic goaded her new copresenter to show his "Gangnam Style" moves. Terrence Jenkins was doing his first red carpet duty for E! Entertainment at the 2012 American Music Awards where he interviewed Psy.
"I work for E! now," said Terrence Jenkins. " I've got to be serious now. I'm on TV now."
"Oh. I miss the old Terrence Jenkins," said Giuliana Rancic. "He would have "Gangnam"-ed for me."
"There's no way I'm going to do that, man," he said before popping out a set of sunglasses and busting out the moves.
But suddenly it went all horribly too far. As an anchor and as a presenter, you're the anchor to and for the viewer. If goes the anchor, there goes the viewer's tether.
Terrence Jenkins unprofessionally danced right into the space behind Giuliana Rancic, where even the E! News in-studio cameras could not keep up.
A wide-eyed Giuliana Rancic exclaimed sarcastically: "You still look like a serious journalist."
Then Terrence Jenkins danced off the set, suddenly right past in front of the camera with his back turned to the camera, and away as Giuliana Rancic struggled to maintain control and get through her next link.
