With Glen Lyndon ''The Blister'' crowned the winner in the first season finale of the brilliant Way of the Warrior on M-Net Action (DStv 106) what now for Colin Moss who presented and produced the reality show?

I caught up with Colin Moss straight after the fight night finale (which was recorded this past Friday) and asked him what's next  - and whether he's taking a bit of a break. ''Right now? Yes. Right now Tamarin Kaplan and I – and Tamarin has worked even harder than me on this because she's been producing and been the post director on this – we're going to be taking a little holiday first and foremost, he told and laughed.

I also wanted to know about a possible second season for Way of the Warrior and whether he would be up for it. ''Absolutely!'' is Colin Moss' immediate answer. ''We're absolutely up for a second season. That depends entirely on the broadcaster, M-Net Action, and what their budget looks like for next year and how much local content they're planning to do and if they're happy with Way of the Warrior. I'm not going to make any guesses but from what I hear they're happy.''

And what's next for Colin Moss? ''Who knows?'' he chuckles. ''Life's one big adventure.''

BREAKING. Glen Lyndon ''The Blister'' crowned the winner in first season finale of Way of the Warrior.

Glen Lyndon (25), nicknamed ''The Blister'' was crowned the winner Monday night in the first season finale of the Muaythai inspired reality show Way of the Warrior on M-Net Action (DStv 106).

In the fight night finale, Glen Lyndon got into the ring at Grand West's Grand Arena in Cape Town to triumph over his opponent Andrew Koshiaris (35), nicknamed ''The Hedgehog'' in four rounds.

In the innovative Way of the Warrior produced by Colin Moss and his Gathered Moss Productions, and filmed in Cape Town, 16 contestants battled each other and their weight in a Muaythai inspired training and fighting regime. Andrew Koshiaris weighed 113kg when he started and ended at 96,1kg. Glen Lyndon weighed 127,2kg and is now 110kg. Glen Lyndon won R50 000 in cash, a trip to Thailand and a Suburu Outback 2.5i worth R350 000.

The spectacular final episode of the terrific first season of Way of the Warrior - Colin Moss' local Muaythai inspired reality show - is broadcast this evening at 18:00 on M-Net Action (DStv 106). I was there on Friday night when it all went down and all I can say is you have to watch how it all ends (and get ready for multiple surprises!).

Will it be flab to fight machine Glen Lyndon or fat to fighter Andrew Koshiaris who will be the last man standing in the ring? At the fight night finale I spoke to Colin Moss who described the event as ''an incredible experience''. I promised not to blab, but get ready for some real fireworks, mano a mano action and an ultimate Way of the Warrior winner that will be revealed at the end of tonight's episode.

FIRST LOOK! The celebs come out for Colin Moss' spectacular Way of the Warrior finale.

Last night I attended the recording of the fight night finale of Way of the Warrior and Cape Town celebs came out to support cool guy Colin Moss, who besides being involved with heavy duty production word behind the scenes of this innovative and original reality show, is also the Way of the Warrior presenter.

From the gaggle of local celebs who attended, I quickly pulled rugby player Breyton Paulse and Natalie Becker out of the crowd and put them together with Colin Moss to pose for this quick photo. Colin Moss looked quite relaxed (considering his Gathered Moss production company is actually producing Way of the Warrior).

And let me just say that Colin Moss has just a wonderful rapport and interaction with a live audience on a level that very few MC's and celebs in this country has: gentle ribbing, but never pandering, completely in tune with the jibes and friendly hecklers in the audience, and instantly reacting and feeding back to them. Colin Moss is clearly feeding off the energy of a large crowd, never looking stressed and in fact - I suspect, once again seeing him in action - loving it, gently steering masses of people to do exactly what they need to, without them feeling as if they've being controlled or stage-managed. If you know showbiz, you'll appreciate what he's actually able to do because not a lot of celebs can pull it off successfully and make it look so easy.

Yesterday evening the celebs could barely contain their excitement at Grand West's fight night and were anxious for the guys to get into the ring (there were several fights leading up to the final two contestants of the show). However the final episode gets edited down for time, it will be well worth watching.

The final two Way of the Warrior contestants, Glen and Andrew duked it out in the ring - much lighter than what they were when the show started - while the cameras rolled and the crowd cheered. You can catch the season finale of Way of the Warrior on Monday at 18:00 on M-Net Action (DStv 106).

BREAKING. Unexpected contestant injury on set rattles Way of the Warrior production.

I can exclusively reveal that the production of the local reality show Way of the Warrior Mondays at 18:00 on M-Net Action (DStv 106) has been dealt a big setback after a contestant injury on set.

The Cape Town based show, produced by Colin Moss and Gathered Moss Productions, suffered an unexpected contestant injury in Woodstock where Way of the Warrior is filmed, but I've heard through the grapevine that the show is going on and is working around the challenge. Producers were initially shocked and very concerned when the incident took place - both for the contestant's sake, as well as for the way it's shaking up the production plan.

Contestants in the Muaythai inspired production were warned ahead of time that the dangerous elements of the martial arts infused show will be present during the show as they fight to stay in the game. According to sources, the injury has put a spoke in the wheel of the production, but Way of the Warrior is forging ahead. The unplanned incident and unexpected injury on set will now most likely up the ante for viewers regarding the surprise factor - as well as provide a real-life dramatic moments that the producers will incorporate into upcoming episodes.

BREAKING. Way of the Warrior debut episode pulled just before first broadcast.

M-Net Action (DStv 106) has pulled the first episode of the new local reality show Way of the Warrior just before its debut episode was supposed to go out this evening at 18:00.

Way of the Warrior, produced by Colin Moss' Gathered Moss Productions, has been postponed by M-Net Action for a week to give the producers one more week to work on it. The deadline to deliver the 13 episodes are incredibly tight, since the show just started filming a few weeks ago.

''We want our viewers to be hooked from the start and have worked around the clock to ensure that the format translates perfectly onto screen,'' says Khosi Khanyile, M-Net Action's channel manager.

''Yet, we are not 100% satisfied with the final first episode product and would like give the production company another week’s grace to deliver a first episode that will set the scene for episodes to come,'' says Khosi Khanyile. In the place of Way of the Warrior M-Net Action will now show the music special Arctic Monkeys Live at the Apollo this evening until Way of the Warrior starts on 22 February at 18:00.

I'm just back from a great set visit in Cape Town earlier this afternoon at a top secret undisclosed location. This place serves as the headquarters of the brand-new local reality show Way of the Warrior that starts on M-Net Action (DStv 106) on Monday, 15 February at 18:00.

In Way of the Warrior, produced by Gathered Moss Productions, 16 overweight local guys gets instructed in the martial art of Muay Thai and then gets to slug it out until only one is left, while they battle to become fighting fit. Of course they get placed before gruelling physical and mental challenges.

The cool Colin Moss is going the Way of the Warrior in the TV star's new action-packed local reality show that will start on Monday, 15 February on M-Net Action (DStv 106) at 18:00. The 13 part Way of the Warrior is produced by Colin's own Gathered Moss Productions, giving 16 out of shape guys the opportunity to shape up through the ancient martial art of Muay Thai. Colin will also be the host of the show.

BREAKING. Colin Moss is back on TV . . . and oh-so ready for a fight!

You're reading it here first. Colin Moss is back on TV in 2010 and I have all the specific details about his brand new reality show called Way of the Warrior and how to enter before the end of December.

This site to enter on M-Net has gone live here for Way of the Warrior in which 16 men between 25 and 35 (and who are overweight and living a very unhealthy lifestyle) will be remade into prime Muay Thai fighters to square off against each other in front of a crowd of 4 000 at the Grand Arena at the Grandwest Casino in Cape Town.

Way of the Warrior is produced by Colin's production company Gathered Moss Productions and will start on M-Net Action (DStv 106) on 15 February at 18:00.

The show will be filmed between January and April, which is the period the 15 contestants (selected from Cape Town, Durban, Johannesburg and Port Elizabeth) will have to be available.

Colin Moss is the presenter while the 16 dudes will be reshaped into prized Muay Thai fighters while they're losing weight at Dragon Power, South Africa's best Muay Thai school in Cape Town by none other than Quentin ''The Dragon'' Chong.

The last contestants will compete in hand to hand combat in front of hopefully thousands of spectators in ''a spectacular fight night''!
