MultiChoice mum on more new channels for 2010; says it ''strives to cater for the diverse viewing needs of all our subscribers''.

Although MultiChoice is mum on what it's possibly still planning for the last bit of the year, the pay TV platform tells me that 2010 has been about giving subscribers ''more value and choice''.

I asked MultiChoice, after the successful launch of The Food Network today at 12:00 on DStv channel 185, whether DStv can tell how many more channels the pay TV operator might still be adding in December.

Although MultiChoice doesn't want to officially comment, MultiChoice says ''our focus throughout this year has been to give our subscribers more value and choice. We have over 3,2 million subscribers in South Africa alone. We strive to cater for the diverse viewing needs of all our subscribers.''
