Presenter Pabi Moloi has exited e.tv's The Morning Show after a year.

It's not clear whether e.tv and The Morning Show didn't renew its contract with Pabi Moloi, or whether she decided to quit.

In a statement Pabi Moloi, whose last appearance on The Morning Show was on Thursday 31 March last week, says she is gone from The Morning Show "to pursue other aspects of her entrepreneurial journey and other media interests.".

"I am excited to have showcased my news and actuality skills this year. South Africa is genuinely teeming with opportunity, and I'm grateful to be shifting into exciting new spaces".

There's been no statement from e.tv or The Morning Show about Pabi Moloi's exit.

As a compère at media events and master of ceremonies at corporate functions, Pabi Moloi over the past year held a unique position in that she MC'ed and was the face of media events of both e.tv as well as MultiChoice.

Besides being a presenter on The Morning Show, the versatile and experienced Pabi Moloi appeared during the same period last year before media at e.tv's head office in Hyde Park at e.tv's media events, but also in Randburg at MultiChoice City.

Pabi Moloi got flown to Dubai for MultiChoice's multi-day presentation at the Dubai Expo 2020 in 2021, after which she also anchored the MultiChoice Showcase 2021 in November for media.

Lifetime on DStv adds local makeover love finder show, Love at Second Swipe, from 25 October with Pabi Moloi.

A+E Networks' Lifetime (DStv 131) is adding a new local makeover love finder show, Love at Second Swipe, from 25 October at 20:00.

Love at Second Swipe, a South African adaptation of TLC's Love at First Swipe, has Pabi Moloi as the presenter with a team including a style expert, makeup guru, hairdresser and a life coach to give people a makeover in an attempt to help them find love with their new look.

The 6 hour long episodes are produced by Hi Mom, and will feature two participants per episode, getting style tips, online dating advice and an external makeover with an emotional reveal moment.

"These are personal stories, these are real human beings experiencing the anguish of wanting to love and be loved and not knowing how to navigate that and we're going to capture those moments," says Pabi Moloi in a statement.

"It excites me to demystify what online dating is and to help people discover the true connection with themselves before they make a match with somebody else."

Dr. Zenia Barnard, the Love at Second Swipe "life coach" says it won't be a "superficial exercise".

"We delve into their emotional challenges and what has possibly been holding them back and what they can let go of. You can put as much makeup on and change your hair but if the emotional shift isn’t happening then that person isn't going to find ultimate happiness and love."

Shaldon Kopman, the show's stylist, says "a lot of people don’t understand how to dress themselves or how to style themselves. So in the show my role is to makeover the participants from a style perspective so that they can feel good and comfortable in their space and go out there and conquer."

Pabi Moloi who is a panelist on SABC3's late night talk show Trending SA will be the presenter of the new season of the channel's Presenter Search on 3 talent scouting competition show.

Nationwide auditions of the new season of Presenter Search on 3 will kick off this coming weekend, with the show that will start broadcasting on SABC3 on Thursday 10 May at 19:30.

Presenter Search on 3 will look for new faces to join established SABC3 shows like Top Billing, Expresso and Afternoon Express and is produced for SABC3 by Cardova Productions.

"I am thrilled at the chance to witness dreams coming true," says Pabi Moloi. "It's amazing how many people desire the simple opportunity to step under the lights and shine bright. SABC3 is opening the industry and I'm honoured to be a part of this journey."

M-Net's weekly entertainment magazine show All Acess with Mark Bayly and Pabi Moloi is moving out . . . to Fridays.

I broke that news exclusively at the beginning of February right here which M-Net eventually confirmed, and on Thursday I was first right here to tell you about the show also moving out of the M-Net studio from this Friday. Yesterday a source close to the show told me exactly how All Access will change when it makes it debut on the new night of the week on Friday (still in the same 19:30 timeslot), and yesterday I also got that info confirmed from another source.

I've decided not to spoil the surprises and the nice reveal that All Access has planned for Friday, so make sure you tune in and see it for yourself. I will talk about the All Access changes right after the show on Friday night.

How funny. Just two days ago I told you RIGHT HERE that I think Jason Greer from M-Net's All Access is one of the hardest workers in showbiz and why.

Now I can exclusively dish first that All Access' Jason Greer is New York for the New York Fashion Week and that Pabi Moloi is in London for the premiere of the movie Valentine's Day to interview the star-studded cast. These inserts should probably form a part of this coming Thursday's show at 19:30 on M-Net.

I'm not going to spill everything just yet (but check back next Thursday, 31 December on the evening it gets broadcast and I promise more beautiful pictures) but All Access on Thursdays at 19:30 on M-Net has something special in store.

Episode 28 of M-Net's weekly entertainment magazine show All Access, - going out next Thursday, 31 December at 19:30 on M-Net, is ''going to be awesome'', I'm told.  

The very special episode (with bubbly on the set to toast in the new year!) is filled with the biggest local music stars from Heinz Winckler to Watershed who all came in to make some noise on New Year's Eve. All the presenters (Bridget Masinga, Jason Greer, Tammy-Anne Fortuin, Ewan Strydom, Koula, Mark Bayly and Pabi Moloi) dressed up to the nines and are all together on the All Access set for this special TV event.

Later next Thursday night, 31 December at 22:30 on M-Net you can also catch the annual Royal Variety Performance.
