Shifting to a channel with a bigger black audience which Nestle has to try and reach means Tshepo Mosese is in and Ursula Stapelfeldt is out as the new presenter of the advertiser-funded production (AFP) Bar-One Manhunt which will start on 30 July at 21:00 on SABC1.
Ursula Stapelfeldt could have been the presenter of Bar-One Manhunt again and was therefore deliberately omitted from Top Billing's latest billboard marketing shoot in April because Tswelopele Productions who've used Ursula Stapelfeldt as a presenter didn't want brand confusion by having her face on a billboard while she's also appearing as the face of Bar-One Manhunt.
Now the face of Bar-One Manhunt's television activation part of Nestle's marketing project will be the 29 year old actor and kwaito star Howza whose real name is Tshepo Howard Mosese as the reality AFP shifts from SABC3 to SABC1.
Howza is no stranger as a fill-in replacer - he took over from Sisanda Henna who was dumped as the presenter of All You Need is Love during the 5th season on SABC1 exactly a year ago.
The 3rd season of Bar-One Manhunt will see 16 South African men duke it out in "enticing secret locations" locally and overseas in gruelling physical and mental challenges to find a winner.

Bar-One Manhunt moving from SABC3 to SABC1 as the advertiser-funded production returns for a 3rd season on 30 July.
The advertiser-funded reality show production Bar-One Manhunt is moving from SABC3 to SABC1 when it returns for a third season set to start on 30 July.
SABC1, the public broadcaster's TV channel with the widest footprint, is now becoming the SABC channel littered with the most AFP's - programmes such as Tropika Island of Treasure where sponsored-branded TV content appears as part of product placement in programming due to commercial deals between companies and the public broadcaster.
Filming of the 3rd season of Bar-One Manhunt will take place, according to Nestle which is responsible for the show, in an "undisclosed, exotic overseas location" as well as across the Western Cape in South Africa.
The third season of Bar-One Manhunt will have 13 episodes with 16 finalists, men who have to "dig deep" to "illustrate their abilities, in order to uncover the ultimate Bar-One man that all South African men can aspire towards".
Auditions for contestants will be taking place in Johannesburg, Durban and Cape Town.
Nestle says the aim of the show is to "build a stronger bond between the brand and its core consumers with an exhilirating and gripping reality series that best demonstrates the brand core values by leading a group of exceptional male contestants through a rigorous series of challenges that will reveal a man that epitomises the everyday hero."

Why Bar-One is bringing my barfing feeling back. Yes. There's more advertiser-funded television heading South African viewers' way.
After years of covering television, when I hear the word advertiser-funded programme (or so-called AFP in the biz) the revulsion that is partially digested food starts wanting to climb back up my throat.
Imagine my surprise (not!) when I had to discover that a second season of the Bar-One Manhunt is coming to SABC3 - a surprise because both seemingly super incompetent Nestlé and Bar One couldn't care in the least enough about their brand(s) to actually tell South Africa's hard-working journalists actually writing about television about it - except one or two mundane publications that the company (or whoever is in charge of PR and marketing for this apparent drekmore) happened to be aware of.
In my opinion it's once again (as just keeps happening and keeps happening, over and over again) a classic example of people who's work it is to know and do it right, who simply don't do anything. Then ironically, they can't understand why they're not written about or why their brand(s) get damaged (when people like me get upset or even worse - simply don't care).
Catch a wake-up Nestlé and Bar-One, and if you're doing it, or if you've outsourced the mess to other people, get them to actually find out who all the press people are and what publications exist, and who you need to actually be dealing with and what the full universe of people covering your silly show actually entails. Because you're clearly not.
The second season of Bar-One Manhunt on SABC3 has not even started, and already I (and I would assume my competitors who are as out of the loop) are all already very negatively inclined. Why write about a show that doesn't care to be written about? And why people can't actually contact a broadcaster - in this case SABC3 and ask: ''Who are the spectrum of press we need to talk to?'' is really beyond me. And what starts bad, usually remains bad.
Maybe Nestlé and Bar-One can do a ''Bar One professionalism hunt''. Maybe if you have people who actually are aware of what a proper mailing list is, and who and what should be on it, then the reaction and response to your advertiser-funded TV show will be better.
Somewhere at Bar-One there are people working who are clearly not working 25 hour days.
