MultiChoice is adding another 17 of its existing TV channels available on its DStv satellite pay-TV platform to its DStv Now live streaming app and DStv online site.
DStv Now's functionality of live streaming TV channels is only available to DStv Premium subscribers with a PVR.
The 17 additional TV channels follow the 21 TV channels MultiChoice added in April this year, and brings the total to 60.
The 17 further channels on DStv Now are E! Entertainment, VUZU AMP, VUZU, FOX Entertainment, BET, M-Net City, National Geographic, Nat Geo WILD, Mzansi Wethu, Mzansi Bioscope, kykNET Nou!, SuperSport 7, SuperSport 8, SuperSPort 9, M-Net Movies Zone, MTV Base and M-Net Family.
"We're excited that we're able to add more channels to DStv Now in such a short period of time - we added 21 channels earlier this year," says Graeme Cumming, the general manager of DStv digital media in a statement.
