According to MultiChoice [ED] will broadcast 6 hours of new content on weekdays.
[ED] will run 24 hours per day, repeating the 6 hours of content three times per day.
[ED] is packaged by Urban Brew Studios for MultiChoice.
Three of the 6 "original" hours per day will be bought content. This will including documentaries such as Black Wings about black American pilots and 9/11 Fragments about the terror attack on 9/11, as well as other short form material.
Three of these 6 hours per day will be presenter-driven hours, with each of the hours aimed at a specific demographic: one focusing on viewers between 25 and 49; one hour focusing on viewers between 18 and 25; and one hour on [ED] focused on viewers between 15 and 18 years of age.
Danie Ferreira is the executive producer of [ED]. [ED] will be available to 49 African countries through DStv.
