SABC3 adds The Bold and the Beautiful Omnibus on Sundays at 14:00 from this Sunday; drops the Sunday film slot as transition starts.

I can reveal that SABC3 is dropping its Sunday afternoon movie slot and replacing it with an omnibus of The Bold and the Beautiful soap from this coming Sunday at 14:00.

It's a permanent new schedule change as SABC3 and SABC1 slowly move forward with the long-stalled switch of the American soap which the SABC wants to move from SABC1 to SABC3 and has now twice started, then halted - first in 2011 and then again earlier this year as TV with Thinus has reported the past three years.

Now a partial soft change will happen from Sunday when repeats of The Bold and the Beautiful will be introduced on SABC3 between 14:00 and 16:00 of the week's episodes.

It's not the first time however that SABC3 carried The Bold and the Beautiful repeats over a weekend, although this time its a structural scheduling change heralding the primetime move of the American soap.

SABC3 will now carry Days of Our Lives repeats on Saturday afternoons, with The Bold and the Beautiful repeats on Sundays from this coming weekend.
