Passione coming to FOX from August as a new Brazilian telenovela in 209 episodes set in Brazil and Italy.

"There's something I must confess. You're son was not a stillborn. I lied! He's alive."

I can reveal that Passione is coming to FOX (DStv 125 / TopTV 180) from August when the new 209 episode Brazilian telenovela will start which is set in Brazil and Tuscany in Italy about a long believed dead brother and son who returns to reclaim his inheritance.

The sprawling story which was shown on Brazil's Globo TV channel goes as thus: Beth pregnant by another man, married Eugene 55 years ago. Baby is born, Eugene doesn't want to raise him, gives the child away and told Beth the baby died.

When Eugene dies when Passione starts, he tells Beth, now a wealthy matriarch, that the son is alive. Beth wants him found. The evil nurse Claire (oh we love 'em evil nurses!) overhears it all and plots to find Beth's Italian son first, get the Italian stallion in bed and to then steals his inheritance through stealing his heart.

Of course this is exactly what happens: Claire finds the son before mamma, he falls in love with her  - ta-da - but then finds out about his real heritage.
