The former American Sports Illustrated swimsuit model Carol Alt is getting her own beauty, health and fitness show on weekends on the Fox News Channel (TopTV 405) later in the year on the 24-hour American news channel.

In somewhat of a departure for the Fox News Channel, the new weekend show set to start later in 2013 will not be focused on a discussion of American politics but Carol Alt will be talking about beauty, health, fitness and lifestyle issues.

"Living well is an important topic for discussion," says Bill Shine, Fox News Channel's executive vice president for programming. "As a renowned supermodel, Carol Alt has embodied a healthy lifestyle for years and will bring both formative and helpful ideas to our viewers."
