Danine Naidoo suddenly popped up as a guest-presenter today on this morning's episode of SABC3's weekday breakfast show, Expresso.
Expresso presenter Ewan Strydom only said that Danine Naidoo is "a guest presenter today" and neither Expresso nor SABC3 alerted the media or TV critics ahead of her appearance.
Whether the guest presenting is a live, on-air try-out for Tswelopele Productions for Danine Naidoo to joins the existing group of Expresso presenters is not sure but with no word nor explanation from the production or the TV channel, it would appear so.
Danine Naidoo, a former presenter for the youth afternoon block Hectic Nine-9 on SABC2, has featured on Expresso before in pre-recorded inserts within the morning show.
Expresso has a presenter's void since Liezel van der Westhuizen left at the end of 2012 and is no longer doing live morning shows for the production.
