STRIPPER STORY. Carte Blanche on M-Net has fun catching a stripper with his pants down and warning viewers about bare butts.

How much fun did Derek Watts have on Sunday evening in Carte Blanche on M-Net when he teased: "After the ads, exotic dancers who are having their ass-ets stripped by a devious online crook"?

Not in years have M-Net's weekly investigative magazine show Carte Blanche on Sundays at 19:00 had the chance to have so much fun and titillate viewers because they "have the right to see it all".

Back when Derek Watts and Ruda Landman were still a co-presenter duo on the weekly show, Carte Blanche would often feature more risque inserts.

Part of the lure would be the actual viewer discresion warning incorporated into the tease at the top of the hour or just before an insert, with either Derek Watts or Ruda Landman warning viewers that because of a higher age restriction for an upcoming insert, viewers might not be able to see it (unless of course the age restriction level on decoders are changed or unblocked).

On Sunday night, for the first time in years, Carte Blanche again ran a more risque story with a PG13 parental block about a male stripper conning clients. Of course the intrepid Devi Sankaree Govender was sent in undercover to catch the stripper with his pants down, literally.

Besides following (and renewing) the approach of warning viewers about an upcoming saucy insert, the Carte Blanche episode had a lot of fun teasing the story. Besides the teaser before the ad break where he arned about "strippers getting their assets stripped", Derek Watts also had a hilarious intro link to the actual insert.

"Private strip shows are big business in this country and it hasn't taken long for a greedy guy to take the gap, allegedly pinching the profiles of exotic dancers, and accepting bookings on their behalf. Well, Devi caught the culprit - with his pants down, literally. There are a few bare butts in this story, so close your eyes if that offends you," Derek Watts told M-Net viewers.

The Carte Blanche episode remains available and viewable on DStv on Demand until 10 February.
