This week viewers of Expresso, SABC3's breakfast show saw presenter Graeme Richards absailing from the 7th floor of the Equinox building in Sea Point in Cape Town from where the show is broadcast live on weekdays.
Graeme Richards did the absailing last Friday and the insert was shown this week on Tuesday.
Graeme Richards was hanging 22 metres from the ground off the edge of the Expresso penthouse studio, teaming up for an effort to raise awareness for heart health awareness. The absailing team rigged Graeme Richards up to a heart monitor and monitored his heartbeat from the moment he stepped off the ledge until he was safely on the ground.
