A+E Networks UK appoints Bakori Davis as its new head of distribution with title of vice president of commercial operations.

Bakori Davis has been appointed in the newly created role as vice president of commercial operations at A+E Networks UK, which runs channels such as History (DStv 254) and the Crime & Investigation Network (DStv 255) in South Africa.

Bakori Davis will be responsible for all linear and non-linear distribution within the United Kingdom, Ireland, Central and Eastern Europe, Nordics, Benelux, Iceland, Creece, the Middle East and Africa.

He will also manage A+E Networks UK's ad sales efforts, be responsible for international advertising, branded content and integrated marketing opportunities. Coming from Viacom Media Networks, Bakori Davis will be reporting to A+E Networks UK managing director Tom Davidson.
