M-Net is looking for a commissioning editor for the pay-TV broadcaster's local interest channels.

M-Net is now looking for a commissioning editor to join the South African pay-TV operator at its Randburg office (where lots of renovations and movement to and fro across the street together with MultiChoice is going on).

M-Net needs another new commissioning editor to oversee a variety of local productions who will be reporting to the channel manager or head of programming in Randburg. It's a permanent position and the closing date for applications is 9 September.

The equity status of this commissioning editor job reads "African, Coloured and Indian candidates".

The job requires at least 5 years of TV production experience, knowledge of TV broadcasting, a degree or national diploma in TV/media/scriptwriting/drama.

The commissioning editor will commission content briefs to the TV industry, contract production companies, manage productions and research industry trends and changes.
