The Kennedys, filmed in Toronto and produced by Muse Entertainment Enterprises, has Greg Kinnear as John F. Kennedy, Barry Pepper as Robert F. Kennedy, Katie Holmes as Jacqueline Kennedy and Tom Wilkinson as Joseph Kennedy Sr.

The show that has won 3 Emmys starts on election day in 1960 in America with senator John F. Kennedy pitted against vice president Richard Nixon in the televised debates that would prove so crucial in winning the race to the White House.

The Kennedys relives the public and private joys and tragedies of this influential family in during a tumultuous time for American politics which also retells the political crises of the disastrous Bay of Pigs invasion, the Cuban Missile Crisis that brought the world to the brink of nuclear war, and the Civil Rights Movement. The Kennedys of course also deals with the assassinations of JFK and RFK.
