Programming note: Forgive that they keep changing the presenter, don't forget to watch; a 5th season of Forgive & Forget coming to e.tv.
The show has seemingly more different presenters than the new faces that greet me at my local KFC drive-thru.
Forgive & Forget is back for a new 5th season from Tuesday 28 June at 21:00 on e.tv with (of course) a new presenter. Kinalma Bashman who was a sport presenter on Soweto TV takes over as presenter of the somewhat tacky reality show that reunites people and then hope for the best. The previous Forgive & Forget presenter Doris Msibi is on maternity leave.
''While they can't undo what they've already done, they can take the first step towards making amends and reaching out to those they've wronged,'' says e.tv in the press release announcing the return of the show. ''Saying you're sorry, is not always easy, but the first step towards healing,'' says Kinalma Bashman.
The 5th season premiere episode of Forgive & Forget will kick off with ''highlights'' from the previous season: the abusive, drug-addicted husband, the big brother bully, the employee who stole R50 000, the reformed murderer and the teen mom. People with ''a relationship you would like to heal'' on camera can contact Forgive & Forget by sending a letter to Forgive & Forget, PO Box 7197, Bryanston, Johannesburg 2021.
