I can be first to tell you that because the video casettes for the 25th and final season of The Oprah Winfrey Show didn't arrive yet, the broadcaster will show repeat episodes in the place of the new season that was supposed to start today.
I broke the news RIGHT HERE yesterday that SABC3 has no new Oprah episodes and that SABC3 started to panic and went into crisis mode yesterday afternoon because of the non-delivery of tapes to the programme acceptance department. I was just told that SABC3 will now continue to broadcast repeat episodes for the show that has also not yet secured an overall sponsor for this season.
Until the new episodes arrive - SABC3 did sign the contract in time - the repeat will be broadcast on weekdays at 22:15. Once the Cricet World Cup starts, The Oprah Winfrey Show will be moving to the 21:30 timeslot, and be repeated at 00:30 on weekdays. South African viewers will be able to see a brand-new Oprah Winfrey interview on Friday afternoon on MSNBC (TopTV 410) though.
