BREAKING. MultiChoice forced to broadcast Zimbabwe's state-controlled ZTV1 channel before elections.

In the run-up to the Zimbabwe elections MultiChoice has been forced to broadcast ZTV1, one of the channels of the Zimbabwean state-controlled Zimbabwe Broadcasting Corporation (ZBC) on channel 138 on DStv.

Transmedia Corporation, a unit of ZBC, says MultiChoice must broadcast ZBC's ZTV1 channel. ''All Zimbabwe registered MultiChoice decoders should access ZTV1 on DStv channel 138 as a free-to-air channel . . . whether subscriptions have been paid or not.''

I'm awaiting a response from MultiChoice on this matter.
