Jon Farrar joining BBC Worldwide from August as new vice president for programming for the EMEA region.

Jon Farrar is leaving his job as Universal Networks International UK and Northern Europe's programming director and will be joining BBC Worldwide, the BBC's commercial arm, from next month.

Jon Farrar will take over on Monday, 2 August as the new vice president: programming for BBC Worldwide's Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) region and will oversee all programming for BBC Entertainment (DStv 120), BBC Knowledge (DStv 251), BBC Lifestyle (DStv 180) and CBeebies (DStv 306).
