BREAKING. Freek Robinson set to join e.tv's eNews division as part of its Afrikaans news programme for kykNET.

You're reading it here first.

I can reveal that TV and radio presenter Freek Robinson is set to join e.tv as part of its new Afrikaans TV news bulletin along with at least two other people, JP Keyter and LiMari Louw.

No word from either e.tv, the eNews Channel (DStv 403), or kykNET (DStv 111) yet that is working behind the scenes on getting a deal together in which e.tv's eNews division will be doing Afrikaans news for kykNET.

I told you RIGHT HERE on 28 April that eNews and kykNET started discussions and negotiations to look at a way that eNews could produce Afrikaans news for kykNET to counter SABC2's daily TV news bulletin. Tomorrow I'll tell you everything - from how Freek Robinson joining eNews will affect his current kykNET current affairs show Robinson Regstreeks, as well as other TV insider info only I will be able to dish up.
