After SABC1 yanked the brand new premiere episode of the 10th season of Soul CIty off the air at the last minute with no explanation on Monday evening, everyone's scrambling to come up with nice sounding answers after a big mess-up behind the scenes and massive drama at the broadcaster about this.
I just heard from Soul City themselves. ''Due to circumstances outside the Soul City Institute’s control, the first episode of Soul City's 10th season was not broadcast on SABC1 this Monday,'' says John Molefe, Soul City's senior executive for marketing and public affairs.
''We are awaiting further information from SABC1 regarding the rescheduled broadcast date and will inform you as soon as we have it. We are confident that viewers will find the latest series worth the wait.''
