Team Sayari, National Geographic's first pan-African kids conservation show done by The Walt Disney Company, is continuing with further new episodes on Saturdays at 13:00 from 4 March on Nat Geo Wild (DStv 182 / StarSat 221).

Team Sayari, produced by the Kenyan production company White Rhino Films, has a group of youth presenters in studio - Mysha Hodson (15), Marita Lucas (14), Shanah Manjeru (16), Railey Mwai (12) and Adarsh Nagda (14) - who start each episode in the so-called "Sayari basecamp" where a gigantic tree, with a textured trunk named Funzi gives challenges and provides environmental information.

Team Sayari also makes use of a range of young field presenters across Africa - Thandolwethu Fani (15), Khahliso Khojane (15), Sabrina Kilumanga (11), Atule Mazane (14) Christian Mekhi (11), Toluwanimi Olaoye (13) and Sheilah Sheldone (14) - who visit the wild to meet African experts to learn about various environmental challenges.

New Team Sayari episodes on National Geographic Wild will continue to showcase insights, facts and adventures throughout the natural world.

National Geographic will soon launch a Team Sayari web-based app which will be providing digital extensions of the programme as well as fun activities for kids to engage with the natural world.
