MultiChoice has added Ramadaan TV (DStv 346) as a pop-up TV channel to its DStv service for the month of April.
Ramadaan TV will run for the Muslim holy month while Muslim viewers are fasting and reflecting, with the channel that started on Friday 1 April and that will run for around 4 weeks to the Day of Eid, with the sighting of the moon at the end of Ramadan.
Ramadaan TV sourced content from across South Africa and Southern Africa, as well as internationally, and programming on the channel includes live prayer broadcasts, live pledge lines, messages from leading Islamic scholars, daily Quraan programmes, and live iftaar programmes.
