The era is Peak TV so of course the artist known as Meat Loaf is working on a new couples competition reality series that could be entitled I'd Do Anything for Love.
Deadline first reported that Michael Lee Aday known as Meat Loaf is working on bringing a new competition to television that will be based on his hit power ballad from 1993, "I’d Do Anything for Love But I Won’t Do That".
In the series coming almost 30 years after his hit song and produced by the Nobody's Hero production company, couples will compete in various absurd and often very scary physical games.
These games are designed to challenge them to reveal if they can work successfully together, how much they really trust each other - and what they will be and won't be willing to do for love.
The various physical challenges will all play out with a soundtrack of "classic hits, performed live in studio by the original artists as well as new stars".
The last couple left standing will face a final challenge - the so-called "Endgame" in which they will have to try and pass "the ultimate challenge".
