25 years after that first conversation on the Central Perk couch, CNN International (DStv 401) will take a special look back at Friends on Monday, with producers and insiders sharing new on-set secrets about the iconic TV series.

On Friday night at the Tribeca TV Festival in New York, the creators told the audience of the Friends 25th anniversary panel discussion that unlike Will & Grace, Murphy Brown, BH90210 and the flurry of other recent American TV reboots, that there won't be any reboot series or reunion show.
"We will not be doing a reunion show, we will not be doing a reboot," Marta Kauffman Friends co-creator and co-executive producer, said at the panel. She will also be appearing in the CNN International Friends Forever TV special.
"The show was about that time in life when friends are your family," she said."A reboot isn't going to beat what we did".
David Crane, co-creator and co-executive producer, said "We did the show we wanted to do. We got it right and we put a bow on it".
