M-Net and MultiChoice will be adding the next pop-up channel, the M-Net Movies Bang Bang Heroes (DStv 109) channel to DStv starting 18 May.
The M-Net Movies Bang Bang Heroes channel will run from 18 May until Sunday 10 June for 24 days showing 90 films built around legendary Hollywood action heroes, including Sylvester Stallone, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Jean-Claude Van Damme, Jason Statham, Jet Li, Dolph Lundgren, Bruce Willis and Chuck Norris.
The M-Net Movies Bang Bang Heroes channel will be available to DStv Premium, DStv Compact Plus and DStv Compact subscribers.
The M-Net Movies Bang Bang Heroes channel will show 8 films per day, with each of the actors who will get their own time in the limelight one day during prime time.
On Friday 18 May Sylvester Stallone will strut his stuff in Get Carter, Cobra and Over The Top. On Saturday 19 May Jason Statham with be seen in The Transporter, The Mechanic Resurrection and Parker and on Sunday 20 May, Jet Li moves into action with The One, Romeo Must Die, and Dragon Fight.
Bruce Willis takes on the world in every single installment of the Die Hard franchise on Saturday 25 May. Dolph Lundgren’s fighting spirit can be seen on Saturday 26 May in Masters Of The Universe, Universal Soldier: Day Of Reckoning and Skin Trade.
Jean-Claude Van Damme, the Muscles of Brussels, shows off his brawn on Saturday, 2 June in Streetfighter, Shepherd, and The Sudden Death.
Then all 3 Expendables films will be shown on Sunday 10 June beginning with The Expendables at 16:30, followed by The Expendables 2 at 18:15 ending with The Expendables 3 at 20:00.
