Drama series, Power, seen on e.tv and that will continue on 1Magic later this year, renewed for a 6th season in America.
The American drama series, Power, has been renewed for a 6th season in America ahead of production finishing up on the 5th season.
Seasons of Power were broadcast on M-Net's Vuzu AMP channel and will continue later this year on the rebranded 1 Magic (DStv 103) channel, with the drama series that is also shown on the commercial free-to-air channel, e.tv.
Curtis "50 Cent" Jackson will be directing the premiere episode of the 6th season of the drama series that is from the Starz channel in America.
Power, set in Manhattan, New York, revolves around the drug-fuelled and selling lives of the rich and famous and the seedy underbelly under the glamorous lives of the brutal international drug trade with drug boss James "Ghost" St. Patrick (Omari Hardwick), his friend Tommy Egan (Joseph Sikora), and James' wife Tasha (Naturi Naughton).
"As Power wraps production on season five, we want to acknowledge and thank our spectacular Power team for producing another great season," says Carmi Zlotnik, Starz president of programming.
"We are also pleased to announce a pick-up for season six."
