Mickey and the Roadster Racers added to Disney Junior on DStv; new show aimed at teaching pre-schoolers social and emotional lessons.


Mickey and the Roadster Racers has been added to Disney Junior (DStv 309) on Saturdays at 09:30 as a new animation show on the pre-school channel.

In Mickey and the Roadster Racers the five beloved Mickey Mouse characters - Mickey, Minnie, Daisy, Donald and Goofy - race around the world in their customised roadster cars, visiting different countries.

Mickey and the Roadster Racers is aimed at kids between 2 and 7 years old with the main characters involved in problem solving and presenting lessons in terms of social and emotional challenges, like good sportmanship, friendship, the value of teamwork and optimism.

The show from Disney Television Animation is executive produced by Rob LaDuca and will feature several guest appearances like American racing icons Jimmie Johnson, Danica Patrick and Jeff Gordon, as well as entertainment stars like Jay Leno, Tim Gunn, Gordon Ramsay, Jane Leeves, Tia Carrere and others.
