BBC Worldwide to premiere new programming slate at BBC Worldwide Showcase 2017; launch formats like Let It Shine internationally.


The BBC's commercial division, BBC Worldwide, will unveil several new shows at its upcoming 4-day BBC Worldwide Showcase 2017 event in Liverpool to TV executives, potential buyers and journalists, with several international representatives from Africa once again attending as well.

BBC Worldwide is set to launch its format shows like Let It Shine and Let's Sing & Dance internationally. Visitors will also get to see BBC Earth's new natural history series, Ocean.

Joanna Lumley and Jennifer Saunders of Absolutely Fabulous will host an evening for programme buyers, with stars from shows like Doctor Who, the new thriller McMafia and Matt LeBlanc, Chris Harris and Rory Reid of Top Gear and Gary Barlow and Dannii Monigue from Let It Shine attending the BBC Showcase 2017.

BBC Worldwide calls its BBC Worldwide Showcase 2017 "the world's largest international television market hosted by a single distributor", with the content showcase that will include premiere screenings covering drama, natural history, music, comedy, science, history, documentaries, formats and factual entertainment.
