MSNBC on StarSat starts new 6-part series, Pot Barons of Colorado, on Sunday 30 November.

MSNBC (StarSat 263) will start a new 6-part series, Pot Barons of Colorado on Sunday 30 November (Monday 1 December 03:00 South African time) on the American 24-hour TV news channel, chronicling people working in the American state's cannabis industry.

MSNBC is producing the series with the Triple Threat TV production company.

The documentary series follows Colorado-based entrepreneurs who are cashing in on the legal dagga selling craze, like Jamie Perino, the owner of Euflora; Andy and Pete Williams, owners of Medicine Man, one of the largest single-store cannabis dispensaries in the world; and Tripp Keber of Dixie Elixirs, a dagga soda that comes in aluminum bottles.

Pot Barons of Colorado explores their plans for franchises and empire building, along with the dangers of the cash-only business.
