MultiChoice has added the entire first season of the Discovery reality series, The Colony, to DStv Catch Up on the DStv Explora.
The 2009 first season of The Colony was previously broadcast in 2011 on Discovery Science (StarSat 302), but that was on On Digital Media's then called TopTV satellite pay-TV platform (now StarSat) as a linear broadcast.
Now DStv subscribers are able to watch the 10 episodes of The Colony as a box set at their own time in the Discovery Showcase folder on the DStv Explora (or online at DStv Online, or iPad or iPhone).
The reality show takes place in an abandoned warehouse in Los Angeles where where 10 contestants try to survive in a post-apocalyptic setting as raiders try to steal from them, and as they are confronted with interesting challenges to try and maintain "civilization" out of basically very little.
The Colony on the DStv Explora will expire on 31 August.
