Tribute to dead Alyce Chuvunduka: 'There were so many Alyce Chavunduka wannabe's, because she was such a great role model'.

The SABC's Amina Frense who worked with Alyce Chavunduka, who sadly passed away on Sunday following an epileptic seizure, says in a tribute to the former SABC TV news anchor that "there were so many Alyce Chavunduka wannabe's, because she was such a great role model".

Amina Frense, the SABC television news and current affairs managing editor, says Alyce Chavunduka was a pleasure to work with and a role model to many, describing her death as a huge loss.

"I worked personally with her, she was one of my presenters, I had direct contact with her on a daily basis," says Amina Frense.

"Alyce Chavunduka always had a very pleasant disposition; quite a pleasure to work with, I think she really set the bar, the standards."

"There were so many little Alyce Chavanduka wannabe's, because she was such a great role model, a great presenter and we are sad by her passing and we want to pass on our condolences to her family and loved ones."
