BBC World News brings breathtaking Power of Nature series back for 10 new short films revealing the beauty of Earth's most spectacular places.


BBC World News (DStv 400 / StarSat 400) has a new 10 part series of its spectacular Power of Nature project, which returns today to bbc.com and the British 24-hour TV news channel.

The breathtaking 4 minute films in incredible high definition (HD) reveal the beauty of some of the Earth's most spectacular places.

In Power of Nature viewers will get to see elephants in tropical rain forests to sea otters of the North Pacific and include interviews with world renowned scientists and biologists talking about these complex ecosystems.

"Viewers will see these animals and the world they inhabit in an entirely new way," says Dr M. Sanjayan, the lead scientist with The Nature Conservancy and contributor to Power of Nature.
