E! News broadcast in South Africa on Friday night on E! Entertainment (DStv 124) also marked the death of Nelson Mandela.
"We have some very sad news out of South Africa to report today. Former president Nelson Mandela has died at the age of 95," Giuliana Rancic told viewers.
"Mandela had been battling a number of health issues in recent years," she said.
"Mandela is someone who has always fought for peace and racial harmony," said Jessie Giddings.
