BREAKING. SABC's head of sport Sizwe Nzimande is a gonner; leaving the SABC for soccer interest and Mamelodi Sundowns.

The SABC's head of sport Sizwe Nzimande is leaving the South African public broadcaster with Sam Nzimande who will now become involved in soccer-related work including Mamelodi Sundowns and working for Patrice Motsepe's Motsepe Foundation.

Sam Nzimande departs the SABC where he was the group executive for sport.

The SABC has not made any announcement regarding Sam Nzimande's resignation; nor said who will be replacing him and when.
