ANN7 (DStv 405) is set to take down the trash news 24-hour TV news channel's highly offensive billboard on the N1 highway in Sandton.
ANN7 is to remove the billboard claiming ANN7 is "not old farts" and a photo of an elderly gentleman, following after the South African Older Persons' Forum lodged a complaint against the distasteful billboard with the Human Rights Commission and the Advertising Standards Authority (ASA) about the billboard.
The South African Older Persons' Forum said ANN7 offensive billboard amounts to elderly abuse in terms of the Older Persons Act and the language used.
