CNN International's Max Foster snags the first sit-down interview with Prince William after the birth of his son Prince George Alexander.
CNN International's (DStv 401) royal correspondent Max Foster has snagged the first sit-down interview with the United Kingdom's Prince William following the birth of his son Prince George Alexander.
Portions of the interview will be shown on CNN in the United States on Monday 19 August; CNN International has not communicated when viewers in South Africa might get to see the interview.
The interview is actually part of a one hour TV special, a co-production between CNN and the the production company Spun Gold for the British broadcaster ITV entitled Prince William's Passion: New Father, New Hope.
The special chronicles Prince William's passion for Africa and his dream to save the world's most endangered species.
What happens is that when press get access to the British royals they can ask what they want, but in the one-hand-washes-the-other to-and-fro, the content or subject matter has to include something which members of the royal family wants to promote such as their varied charity work.
Hence the special and interview includes Prince William talking about conservation work in Africa.
