The veteran interviewer will kick off the second season with an interview with Buzz Aldrin, the second man on the moon.
In his Buzz Aldrin hour, Sir David Frost will go through exclusive footage of Buzz Aldrin as a fighter pilot in Korea, reflect on his battle with depression and alcohol and ask him about his views on travelling to Mars.
Last year Sir David Frost who has been with Al Jazeera since it launched in 2006, returned to his original interview style, probing world famous personalities.
The Frost Interview will be broadcast on Al Jazeera on Fridays at 22:00, with rebroadcasts on Saturdays at 14:00, Sundays at 03:00 and Mondays at 08:00 (all South African times).
