Wall Street Journal with Maria Bartiromo on CNBC Africa forced to change the show's name from January 2013.

The Wall Street Journal Report with Maria Bartiromo on CNBC Africa (DStv 410) seen Saturdays in South Africa will suddenly be changing its name to On The Money with Maria Bartiromo from January.

No announcement or press statement from CNBC Africa, but WSJ with Maria Bartiromo is forced to change its name since the Wall Street Journal and CNBC in America's 10 year partnership is ending at the end of this year.

The Wall Street Journal belong to NewsCorp, as does Fox Business Network, a competitor 24 hour business news network, which means that the Wall Street Journal name is basically moving away from CNBC and most likely to FBN.

"The Wall Street Journal Report will be renamed On the Money with Maria Bartiromo" says CNBC on its website without any explanation why, although the reason is obvious.
