TopTV has no comment on broadcasting adulterous advertisements on its bouquet after all other broadcasters declined.

TopTV has no comment on broadcasting adulterous advertisements for a company encouraging married people to have affairs.

Asked yesterday whether TopTV has any comment, response or statement regarding why TopTV is advertising a dating service for married people to have affairs, the struggling South African pay-TV operator today said "no comment".

The TV commercials have been declined by all the other South African broadcasters who have been approached by the company responsible for the adverts, who said yesterday that they're "thrilled" that their adulterous advertisements are on TopTV. The dating company said "we are thrilled with the air time we have on TopTV" after other South African broadcasters have "simply refused to show it".

"TopTV is the only broadcaster that sold advertising space" for their controversial TV commercial says the dating company in a statement.

The struggling pay-TV operator which warned creditors that it might no longer be in a position to pay its debt, has entered "business rescue". TopTV is now urgently looking for a new equity investment partner who would be able to funnel additional millions into the pay-TV venture which started its commercial broadcasting operations in May 2010.

In the adultery advertisements on the "family friendly" pay-TV operetors' airwaves a woman and man undress, climb into bed, kiss and then tells viewers: "This couple is married. But not to each other."

The ad on TopTV then says: "Life is short. Have an affair".
