Sara Sidner is moving to CNN International's (DStv 401) Jerusalem bureau as a senior international correspondent, basically a promotion for the TV reporter.
"Sara's drive, commitment, bravery and intelligence shines through in her reporting," says Parisa Khosravi, senior vice president for CNN Worldwide in charge of international newsgathering, in a statement.
"Her work in Libya last year was truly inspiring, and I know she will bring many valuable qualities to our Jerusalem bureau."
Sara Sidner has covered the Mumbai terrorist attacks, the Pakistan floods, the Chile and Haiti earthquakes and the Afghanistan elections. Most recently she has been based in New Delhi where she was responsible for CNN's coverage of India and South Asia.
