Badly assaulted senior SuperSport producer left with a torn bladder was allegedly found in a disabled toilet with another man's girlfriend.

The senior SuperSport producer Jacques van Schalkwyk (44) who was badly assaulted over the weekend by another man and had to undergo emergency surgery for a torn bladder was allegedly in the company of another man's girlfriend when he was attacked, the news wire service Sapa is reporting.

Andre Knipe (48) appeared in the Bloemfontein Magistrate's Court on Tuesday in connection with the alleged assault of Jacques van Schalkwyk.who was the producer of the outside broadcast of the rugby match between the Cheetahs and Western Province on Saturday in Bloemfontein at the Vodacom Park stadium.

Andre Knipe reportedly found his girlfriend in the toilet for the disabled with Jacques van Schalkwyk.
