BREAKING. M-Net Series ready to start a Revolution: Brand-new J.J. Abrams drama set to start on 27 September at 20:30.

M-Net Series (DStv 110) is ready to start a Revolution - the channel plans to start showing the brand-new, high-buzz TV drama Revolution, executive produced by J.J. Abrams, from Thursday 27 September at 20:30 with episodes rolling out for South African viewers just a few days after its broadcast in America.

Revolution, in which modern civilization loses the ability to use electricity, is set 15 years after the world can suddenly no longer use electricity (due to a terrorist group's invention). As civilization as we knew it has crumbled away (cities reclaimed by forests) after "The Blackout", mankind has adapted through reverting back to a world before we knew electricity.

The surprise is ... that some people somehow can still make electricity work for them - and work on antiquated computers, sending messages to each other!

Revolution is a blend between Falling Skies, Lost and The Event - even a bit of Terra Nova (family in a new world).
