No real loyalty there: Stan Matthews (42) suddenly dumped the Premier Soccer League (PSL) as CEO, leaving that organisation in the lurch as he returns to MultiChoice. Stan Matthews will become SuperSport's head of broadcast strategy and business development in Africa.

Stan Matthews leaves the PSL with immediate effect, after barely 6 months in the job.

When he was appointed in December, Stan Matthews said he was "humbled and excited".
