BREAKING. Michael Dearham leaves M-Net; joins Cote Ouest Audiovisuel as senior vice president.
Michael Dearham has left M-Net where he was the head of M-Net's sales and library acquisitions department, and is joining Cote Ouest Audiovisuel where he will be the senior vice president of the group and the general manager of the Mauritian office.
In his new position Michael Dearham will oversee the English language programming part of the business and help to create strategic growth and development for Cote Ouest Audiovisuel as a whole.
"Mike is a highly qualified professional who will undoubtedly take Cote Ouest one step further and who will contribute greatly to the expansion of our activity across English-speaking Africa," says Bernard Azria, the CEO of Cote Ouest. "We are proud to welcome such an outstanding professional of the African market."
Michael Dearham a film industry veteran, worked at South Africa's National Film and Video Foundation (NFVF), the Sithengi Film and TV Market and the Film Resource Unit.

Cote Ouest Audiovisuel owns a unique catalogue of TV programmes including soap operas and telenovelas, major US and African feature films, TV series, movies made for TV, documentaries and kids animation.
