I can exclusively break the news and reveal that The Close Up, Nicky Greenwall's profile interview show of local entertainment stars, is returning to e.tv for a second season from Saturday 2 June at 19:30 replacing The Showbiz Report which is Nicky Greenwall's other show.
The second season of The Close Up - the first season was well-received by viewers and TV critics alike, will feature more local entertainment stars such as Jeannie D of Top Billing pulling back the curtain on their public and personal lives.
The Close Up replaces The Showbiz Report on the e.tv schedule for a second season of 10 episodes, running until 4 August. No word yet on whether The second season of The Close Up will be seen on the eNews Channel (DStv 403) in the gap left when The Showbiz Report ends.
