I can exclusively break the news that SABC3 plans to bring viewers a new TV drama never before see on the channel, Numbers - the first season of which will start on Sunday 1 April at 20:00.
In South Africa Numbers, or Numb3rs, was previously seen on The Hallmark Channel and later The Universal Channel it morphed into [and I've just been told it's also on Top One (TopTV 150) currently in its 3rd season], but from April it will be the first time the show which lasted 6 seasons in America will be on a free-to-air channel.
Numb3rs, a high-brow, high-concept show, revolves around two brothers, FBI special agent Don Eppes (Rob Morrow) who solves crimes with his brother Charlie Eppes (David Krumholtz). Charlie is a mathematical genius and through the use of all kinds of numbers, equations and using applied and clever mathematical tricks that has bearing on crimes and crime scenes, they solve all kinds of intriguing FBI cases.
The first season of Numb3rs has 13 episodes.
