Three Talk with Noeleen Maholwana-Sangqu this afternoon on SABC3 very quickly turned very racy for an afternoon TV talk show with the topic of pornography in South Africa - and it didn't take long before a shocked Noeleen Maholwana-Sangqu, saying she's suffering from hot flashes - had to tell her guests to immediately tone the talk down.
On the Three Talk couch for the live episode on SABC3 with a PG rating, were the clinical sexologist dr Elna McKintosh and Gigi, the co-owner of Lollipop Lounge.
Quickly talk turned to Gigi who recently was apparently a judge on a porn reality show, Porn Idols in South Africa and Noeleen asking her about it. ''We had so many guys who want to be porn stars - its really very hard work - especially for the guys. When you've got all the cameras there, and some guys couldn't keep an erection, some came to quickly, some were too small. It's very hard for a guy,'' Gigi said.
That's when Noeleen's eyes went wide and started to roll with Noeleen shooting a sideway glance to the camera.
''They always employ freaks of nature I always think,'' said dr Elna McKintosh, suddenly swinging her right arm down like an elephant trunk, mimicking a certain part of the male anatomy.
''They're always looking for someone with an enormous ... Like you say, they're too small - they're probably normal sized men but ... ''
''If they are too enormous,'' interjected the always helpful Gigi, ''then sometimes they can't get a hardon. That's what I've learned now as well.''
Noeleen, who've heard enough by this point, started flapping her hands wildly. ''Just ... just ... just ... I'm getting hot flushes here. Lets just tone it done a little bit,'' said Noeleen Maholwana-Sangu and quickly changed the topic.
Well. Now we know.
